I noticed some my thinning patches are untouched during surgery, why is this?

In hair transplant operations, it is a better idea not to do a touch-up on a region which has minimal hair loss, or only less than 40% hairs are shed.

Although we use very tiny microsurgery devices to penetrate the scalp, there is still a good chance to damage some native hairs and the patient is left with a very similar result as the beginning with minimum improvement.
